The big news is that we are having a general meeting on the third Monday of July.\u00a0 This will be the 19th. The location will be outside at the Gerard’s house, 1371 Paradise Rd, Ferndale.\u00a0 You may wear masks if you wish and social distance.\u00a0 We have plenty of room.\u00a0 Be prepared:\u00a0 bring a lawn chair, a blanket, or whatever you want to sit on.\u00a0 Maybe even an umbrella.\u00a0 We have one 10 ft tent and a gazebo, so hope it is sunny.\u00a0 It starts at 6:00 pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New members: we are excited to introduce you to the rest of us.\u00a0 We will have a very short introduction, then show and tell time.\u00a0 Please bring your one favorite rock you found this year to show everyone.\u00a0 There will also be cookie snacks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am excited to get things rolling as a club again!\u00a0 It will be great to have everyone together.\u00a0 We will be discussing more field trips and our annual Show!\u00a0 In September, we will be hosting our Annual Rock & Gem Show.\u00a0 This will be held at the Community building in Pioneer Park in Ferndale.\u00a0 It is a 2-day event, September 11 and 12, with set-up on the 10th.\u00a0 We will need a lot of volunteers.\u00a0 There will be a report on this at the July meeting, so be sure to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
