Deb Gannaway, Ralph Sisco, Bonnie Keel, Gordy Gerard, Glenn Ishihara, Michael Langley, Sharon Geleynse, and Linda Mitchell.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Secretary&#8217;s Report:<\/strong>\u00a0 The minutes of the last meeting on May 3, 2021, were approved.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report:<\/strong>\u00a0 Deb provided a report.<\/li><li><strong>Membership:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Wes reported there have been 40 new members.<\/li><li><strong>Federation:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Michael reported the Federation show is held in Walla Walla, WA on September 11-12.<\/li><li><strong>Show 2021<\/strong>:\u00a0 The show is on September 10-12, 2021, at the Pioneer Pavilion Community Center, Ferndale WA.\u00a0 Sign-up sheets for volunteers will be brought to the July 19\u00a0<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0General Meeting.\u00a0<\/li><li><strong>New Business: <em>Volunteer Needed:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 The club needs a member to volunteer to be a Wagonmaster to organize fields trips for the members of the club.\u00a0 Many members have voiced that they would like to have more field trips scheduled.\u00a0 If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Candi or one of the board members.<\/li><li><strong><em>Work Party:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 A work party will be scheduled to help organize the club\u2019s storage area.<\/li><li><strong><em>Classes:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 At the July 19\u00a0<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0General Meeting, there will be lists of classes for members to sign up for.<\/li><li><strong><em>Guidelines to Rent Space:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Guidelines to rent space to sell rocks and rock-related items at the club\u2019s retail store in Bellis Fair Mall is as follows:\u00a0 Must be an active member of the club for 1 year, attend meetings, merchandise to be approved by the board members, and must volunteer 8 hours each week at the store.<\/li><li><strong><em>Lapidary Room:<\/em><\/strong> Thursday night is \u201cOpen Lap\u201d night for members that are familiar with the lapidary machines.\u00a0 To reserve your spot, you must come into the store to sign up and prepay one week prior to the date.\u00a0\u00a0 Also, there will be specific rules for the Lapidary Room provided to you.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li><strong><em>Rock Cutting:<\/em><\/strong> You can get rocks cut for a fee which is dependent on how many slices and size of rock.\u00a0<\/li><li><strong><em>Ad Clarification:<\/em><\/strong> Ads can be accepted for the website and in the newsletter.\u00a0 The ad must be 3 lines or less, approved by the board members, and $5 payable to the Treasurer.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meeting adjourned at 7:00 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Respectfully submitted by Linda Mitchell<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by President Candi Gerard at Bellis Fair Mall, Space 424.\u00a0 In attendance: Wes &amp;
