Attended by<\/strong>: \u00a0Wes, Deb, Candi, Gordy, Sharon, Ralph, Michael, and Bonnie.<\/p>\n

Secretary’s Report:<\/strong>\u00a0 The minutes of the last meeting on January 3, 2022, were approved.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Treasurer\u2019s Report:<\/strong>\u00a0 Deb gave a report of income and expenses.\u00a0 A back flow test is required by the Mall and it was done this week. \u00a0Show expenditures were also reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Membership:<\/strong> \u00a0Still coming thru the Mall – 17 new or renewed memberships in January.<\/p>\n

Federation:<\/strong> \u00a0No club has stepped up at this time to host the show.<\/p>\n

Mineral Council:<\/strong> \u00a0This Saturday, 2\/12, to Anderson creek for Jade, Nephrite.\u00a0 On 2\/22, a trip to Grandy Creek.\u00a0 Check on Mt Baker website.<\/p>\n

Lapidary:<\/strong> \u00a0Signup by Tuesdays due to need to let the Mall know of people staying after closing.<\/p>\n

Show:<\/strong> \u00a0Vendors to pay at time of signup; contract to be signed on the Friday of setup.\u00a0 U-Haul has been reserved for the weekend. \u00a0Deb will check if rock critters are needed and if so, will schedule a day to make more critters. \u00a0Bonnie and Nancy H. will paint more rocks for the spinning wheel.\u00a0 Wes will be bringing the sign-up sheets and flyers to the meeting. \u00a0Let’s get the word out and let the public know what fun they will have.<\/p>\n

Rock Rendezvous:<\/strong> \u00a0Date set is June 11th at Pioneer Park building.\u00a0 Time not discussed. \u00a0Sign-up sheet to be at the next meeting for additional people to sign up; need 8 more to cover the cost of the rental.\u00a0 At this time the Mall shop will remain open that day.<\/p>\n

New Business:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mall changed items on the contract to be signed. \u00a0Candi is going to further investigate.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Discussion regarding the Mt Baker Rock Club\u2019s website and Facebook. \u00a0We are a nonprofit and it is fine for members to individually post items for sale, but no business should be doing this. \u00a0Will post again the rules about what can be posted.<\/p>\n

We are asking that members wear their nametags (and vests) to meetings. \u00a0It helps the members to get to know the wonderful people in the group.<\/p>\n

Vests: \u00a0Bonnie is still checking into costs and would like to know how many people are interested in wearing them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Food truck for show: \u00a0Candi and Gordy are going to ask if Chihuahua’s is interested in doing this. \u00a0Anyone else with an idea, please let us know.\u00a0<\/p>\n
