{"id":727,"date":"2022-05-03T21:04:37","date_gmt":"2022-05-04T04:04:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mtbakerrockclub.org\/?p=727"},"modified":"2023-01-03T18:57:34","modified_gmt":"2023-01-04T02:57:34","slug":"board-meeting-minutes-may-2-2022-mt-baker-rock-gem-club%ef%bf%bc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mtbakerrockclub.org\/?p=727","title":{"rendered":"Board Meeting Minutes, May 2, 2022, Mt Baker Rock &#038; Gem Club\ufffc"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The meeting was called to order by Candi at 6 pm, at Portal Creek Park Clubhouse.\u00a0 Attending &#8211; Candi, Gordy, Wes, Ralph, Bonnie, and Linda.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secretary&#8217;s Report:<\/strong>\u00a0 The April 4, 2022, minutes were approved.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report: <\/strong>\u00a0On behalf of Deb, Wes reported on bills and income.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Membership:<\/strong>\u00a0 There are three new members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Washington State Mineral Council (WSMC):\u00a0 <\/strong>Please check the WSMC website for more information and about field trips and where\/when to meet.\u00a0 The website is:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mineralcouncil.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/01\/fieldtrips_2022-1.pdf\">2022 Trips.pub &#8211; Microsoft Publisher (wordpress.com)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lapidary Report:<\/strong>\u00a0 There were two members that worked in the Lap room.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Show 2023:\u00a0 <\/strong>No report.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Old Business:\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rockhound Recycling Rendezvous (RRR): The RRR is on June 11, 2022, Saturday.\u00a0 Small flyers will be made to handout at the store in the mall.\u00a0 A reminder will be emailed to members who have signed up for a table to come into the mall store and pay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>New Business:\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The secretary position will need to be filled.
