Rock Club Auction:<\/strong>\u00a0 The doors opened at 6:00 pm for members and guests to register for a number and to preview the items to be auctioned off.\u00a0 The location was at the Pioneer Pavilion Community Center, 2007 Cherry St, Ferndale.<\/p>\n

The meeting was called to order by President Candi Gerard.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The minutes are approved from the September 19, 2022, general meeting.<\/p>\n

Election:\u00a0 <\/strong>The November meeting is the election of officers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lapidary:\u00a0 <\/strong>The Intro to Lapidary for October was cancelled.\u00a0 There is an Intro class in November.\u00a0 To sign up and information, please go to the Bellis Fair Mall retail store.<\/p>\n

Holiday Party:\u00a0 <\/strong>We are discussing whether to have a potluck, just desserts, or raffle desserts.\u00a0 More information will be forthcoming.<\/p>\n

Auction:\u00a0 <\/strong>The auction commenced at 6:30 pm.\u00a0 A big \u201cthank you\u201d to all of the auctioneers, Wes Gannaway, Sharon Geleynse, Gordy Gerard, and Michael Langley.<\/p>\n

Donations:<\/strong>\u00a0 Thank you to all that donated rocks and rock hobby related items.\u00a0 The auction would not have been as successful without you!<\/p>\n

Next Meeting:\u00a0 <\/strong>The next general meeting will be November 21, 2022, 7:00 pm, at the Pioneer Pavilion Community Center, 2007 Cherry St, Ferndale.\u00a0 There will be a presentation, \u201cThe Geology of Steamboat Rock State Park in Photos,\u201d by Todd Folsom.\u00a0 There will be no show and tell.<\/p>\n
